Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Filora for Windows, Filora Mobile for Android, and this website. By downloading or using Filora, you agree to them.

Last updated: October 3, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Filora (“we”, “us”, or “the app”). They apply to the Windows desktop app, the Android companion app, and this website. If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use Filora.

2. The service

Filora lets you share files from a Windows PC to an Android phone using a QR code or link. You can share over a local network or through a temporary public HTTPS link in Global link mode. Filora does not require an account and is provided free of charge for personal and internal use.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Filora on devices you own or control, for personal or internal use only. You may not:

  • Sell, sublicense, or redistribute the apps as your own product
  • Remove, hide, or alter Filora branding, notices, or these Terms
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the apps except where the law allows
  • Use Filora to provide a competing commercial file-sharing service

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use Filora and for the files you share. You agree that you will:

  • Only share files you have the right to copy, send, and download
  • Not use Filora for illegal, harmful, or infringing content
  • Keep share links, QR codes, and optional access passwords private
  • Stop a sharing session when you no longer need it
  • Use Global link mode with care, because a public link can be opened by anyone who has it

Filora is a transfer tool. We do not review, approve, or take ownership of the files you send between your devices.

5. Sharing modes and security

Local network mode sends files over your Wi-Fi or PC hotspot. Devices on that network may be able to reach a share session if they have the link.

Global link mode creates a temporary public HTTPS link through a secure tunnel. Anyone with the link (and password, if you set one) can download the shared files until you stop sharing. An optional access password reduces this risk but does not make a session completely private.

You are responsible for network conditions, firewalls, hotspot setup, and for verifying that the phone and PC are using the same sharing mode.

The Windows app blocks risky file types and can refuse a file that Windows Defender reports as a threat. These checks reduce risk. They do not review files for copyright or legality, and you remain responsible for what you share.

6. Third-party services

Filora may use third-party services, including Google Play, a tunnel provider for Global link mode, and font or icon CDNs on this website. Those services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or data handling by third parties.

7. Availability

Filora is provided “as is”. Features, download links, and tunnel availability may change or be interrupted without notice. We do not guarantee that transfers will succeed on every network, device, or operating system version.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Filora is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the apps will be error-free, secure against all threats, or compatible with every device.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Filora and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of the apps or this website. Our total liability for any claim related to Filora will not exceed the amount you paid us for the apps (currently zero).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, the limits apply only to the extent the law allows.

10. Intellectual property

Filora, the apps, this website, and related branding remain our property or that of our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. Files you share remain yours; using Filora does not give us rights in that content.

11. Privacy

How Filora handles information is described in our Privacy Policy. That policy is part of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms when the apps or this website change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when that happens. Continued use of Filora after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using Filora at any time by uninstalling the apps and deleting downloaded files. We may stop offering Filora or restrict use if these Terms are violated or if continued operation is no longer practical.

14. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Filora Mobile listing on Google Play or by using the support options provided with the app.
